The inaugural Red Spot Open Exhibition is planned for some time next year. We are currently in talks with the movers and the shakers of the arts community of Coventry and are now seeking feedback from artists wanting to take part in such an event . Please let us know what you think. We are trying to gauge public interest in order to plan the size of the first show and the venue that will hold it.

Coventry based artist and Fishbone gallery founder Jeff Hatt shows his latest paintings at the gallery this month. His work is described as 'performed portraiture' and includes pictures of friends and family adopting characters of their own invention. The show also includes some recent commissioned work including a portrait of the octogenarian Ailsa Pain and a 'conversation piece' directly after Gainsborough's Mr & Mrs Andrews, in fact the picture is of the present landowners of the Aubrey's Estate in front of the actual tree featured in Gainsboroughs famous work .
